The LLM Program (by coursework or research) is a one- or two-year program tailored for individuals with legal training and experience, aimed at expanding their knowledge of law or allowing for subject specialization. 

The MLS Program, on the other hand, is designed for those from non-legal backgrounds and experiences, enabling them to pursue a postgraduate legal education.
